This was followed by two years of podiatric and surgical residency at the Los Angeles County Hospital (California) and the Doctors Hospital of Santa Ana (D.H.S.A., California). I am a Diplomate of the American College of Podiatric Orthopaedics and an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

After a year in private practice in Victorville, California; I returned to Australia in 1995 to reside in Melbourne and practice conservative and surgical podiatric medicine and taught at La Trobe University School of Podiatry.

In 2000, I was fortunate to participate in a surgical mission to Danang, Vietnam; where I performed reconstructive surgery on the foot and ankle on children. This mission was organised by the East meets West Medical Volunteers and the Australasian College of Surgical Podiatrists.

I am a registered podiatric practitioner and hold scopes of practice as: Podiatrist, Podiatric Surgeon, and Podiatric Radiographic Imager.
